Now that you know about the problems in
Sudan…
Get involved!
Because of the political instability in Sudan, the Blue Planet Run Foundation has yet to fund a project in this country. We hope to be able to in the near future. We have found that studying the Sudan situation is one of the best ways for students to understand the complete scope of the drinking water crisis and the impact it has on all aspects of life. We encourage you to bring this information and these stories to your classroom.
• Hearing stories from people who have actually experienced the water crisis first hand makes it easier to understand.
• Understanding the problem is the first step to solving it!
If you are interested in creating a program study and fundraising campaign in your school, youth group or religious organization, please contact us. We would love to talk to you about program ideas and cool gear like T-shirt and Blue Shoelaces to support your mission.

Spread the Word!
Just as important as fundraising itself is spreading the word in your community
about Blue Planet Run’s awesome mission.
• Go to a local race (marathons, half marathons, or other) and run on behalf of Blue Planet Run.
• Set up a booth at a local market or fair to inform people on the lack of water in the world and what BPR is doing about it.
• Contact any local Sudan groups (Save Darfur is a popular one) and try to work together with them on informing people on the injustices the Sudanese are facing.
• Organize to speak at your middle or high school!
• Anything goes here! Be Creative! Just be sure to inform people that all proceeds go straight to water projects- nothing else!
